Scented candles that not only provide light and warmth, but also consciously influence the mood: UpCandle from Marzahn-Hellersdorf works with aromatherapy knowledge, natural and sustainable ingredients, and uses resources responsibly.
UpCandle was founded in 2018 with the aim of creating an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional scented candles. Since then, the small manufactory has consistently focussed on regional raw materials such as rapidly renewable and fully biodegradable rapeseed wax and pure natural essential oils. What began in a converted workshop in Brandenburg has led to the company's own Berlin factory, where the candles are moulded by hand. Each candle is part of the aromatherapy concept that UpCandle pursues. Whether for happiness, relaxation, focus or energy - UpCandle has the perfect candle for every occasion.
Instead of paraffin and artificial fragrances, UpCandle uses only natural ingredients. Wooden wicks ensure clean burning and a gentle crackling sound, making the timelessly designed candles a guarantee of cosiness. UpCandle also emphasises sustainability in its packaging: cut-off wine bottles are upcycled as candle containers. This approach has also given the manufactory its name.
Julian and Seda are the heart of UpCandle. While Julian develops the products with attention to detail, Seda creates connections that allow the brand to grow and carry its message to the outside world. This collaboration makes UpCandle more than just a manufactory - it is a project of the heart that brings people and sustainable ideas together.
