Ratskeller Schöneberg

As many bread rolls as you want: The Aschinger restaurants were a Berlin institution that served good and cheap food such as pea soup and beer sausages. The restaurant on Alexanderplatz is also described in Doblin's novel "Berlin Alexanderplatz". In the series, Gereon Rath likes to eat there. But it was shot in Ratskeller Schöneberg under the Schöneberg town hall, which has existed since 1914. John F. Kennedy and Willy Brandt also ate German cuisine in the cosy restaurant. The Ratskeller Schöneberg is open Monday to Thursday from 7am to 2.30pm and on Fridays from 7am to 2pm.
