Exhibition under the field of stelae

The exhibition at the Information Centre documents the persecution and extermination of European Jews as well as the historic sites of the crimes. It was designed by Dagmar von Wilcken.

The focal points of the exhibition are the personalisation of the victims and the geographical dimension of the Holocaust. Nowadays, the site attracts nearly half a million visitors per year.

Please note:

Due to renovation work, the exhibition beneath the field of steles will be closed from 12 January 2026 until 30 April 2026 inclusive.

However, the field of steles will remain open to visitors.
