Queer Ping Pong #2

Whether you’re at the table with a bat, on the dance floor or just chilling on the sidelines: everyone is welcome, regardless of experience or skill level.

Two special DJs will be providing the music:

Gudrun Gut, a leading figure in Berlin’s underground, post-punk and electronic music scenes, co-founder of Malaria! and founder of the Monika Enterprise label, as well as Diamin, the Chile-born, Berlin-based DJ and passionate record collector. Their sets range from new wave to psychedelic sounds, acid and experimental club music. There will also be a live concert by NYYA and a b2b set by ᕲᑢ ᕲᖇᘿᗩ and Kasja.

MC Beyefendi, an award-winning drag king and member of Anatolian Nights Drag, and Camila Malenchini from Club de Baile will be hosting the tournament. With ambition, irony and charm, they’ll be commentating on the matches, cheering on the players and acting as referees.

Six table tennis tables are available: four for the tournament and two that will remain open throughout for free play and round-robin matches.

Following a group warm-up from 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm, the tournament kicks off at 4.00 pm. Everyone is welcome to join in: no pressure to perform, just more fun.

Come early, stay late. Join in the games, have a dance, or just pop round!
