A performative piece of object theatre for children aged 4 and over, based on the children’s book of the same name by Julie Fogliano and Erin E. Stead
“If you want to see a whale, fix both eyes on the sea… and wait… and wait… and wait…”. But just waiting can be quite boring and tiring.

Luckily, there are things like fragrant roses, bizarre cloud formations, a pirate ship or a pelican, and little green creatures scurrying about in the grass – all of which distract you from waiting and tempt you into daydreaming. Did you miss the whale because of this? Will you see the whale you’ve been longing for after all?
