‘Forms of Alignment’ brings together five artistic practices at the Museum of the New Synagogue. Curated by Daniel Laufer and Constanze Murfitt, the exhibition explores relationships – between works of art, people, materials, space and time.

The focus is not on the individual elements, but on what emerges between them: points of convergence, tensions, resonances and new perspectives.

In dialogue with the historic venue, the works transform – and with them, the visitors’ perceptions. Forms of Alignment invites us to experience differences not as a source of division, but as a starting point for relationships.

Featuring works by Jason Hendrik Hansma, Michaela Meise, Katja Pilipenko, Ariel Schlesinger and Claudia Wieser.

In cooperation with the Stiftung Neue Synagoge Berlin – Centrum Judaicum, Dagesh – Jewish Art in Context and the Jewish Culture Days
