A soul that explodes. Lovers caught between history and oblivion. A complex ‘we’. Through a series of readings and discussions, the authors explore three literary perspectives that tell of deep wounds whilst also embodying poetic moments of beauty, community and love.


In her novel *Heimgehen* (2026), Elke Cremer explores human vulnerability. With great subtlety, she weaves a shimmering mosaic, a genre picture of a society that is drifting apart yet remains closely interconnected. In her novel manuscript *Grell*, Ingeborg Robles intones a lament for lovers, full of longing for a Europe in which the ‘other’ is honoured. In her new collection of short stories *Über Bande* (2026), Lena Tietgen embarks on a poetic quest to discover who they are when they speak, whilst questioning the resurgence of fascist phantasms.


Elke Cremer studied literature and musicology and lives in Berlin as a freelance writer. She has received various awards and scholarships, including the annual literature scholarship from the Baden-Württemberg Art Foundation. She has published numerous collections of poetry to date, including *Aufriss ohne Häuser* (2022) and *Die Brailleschrift der Birken* (2026). In 2017, 2022 and 2023, Elke Cremer was awarded the German Audio Film Prize. In 2026, she published her debut novel, *Heimgehen*, with.


Lena Tietgen studied educational science, philosophy and literature and has worked, amongst other things, as a metallographer, teacher and education journalist in Hamburg, Vejle (Denmark) and Berlin. She now lives in Flensburg as a writer. In 2020, she was awarded the Berlin Special Scholarship; this was followed in 2023 by the short story collection *Unruh* and in 2026 by the collection of stories *Über Bande*.


Ingeborg Robles grew up near two major rivers: the Guadalquivir in Seville and the Rhine in Bonn. She obtained a Master’s degree in European Literature and wrote her doctoral thesis on Thomas Mann. Her poetry collection *Auriculares para Ulises* was published in 2021 and was a finalist for the International Vicente Huidobro Poetry Prize. She is a co-founder and curator of the bilingual Salón Berlinés. In 2026, her poetry collection *El movimiento corto de las piernas (siempre dos) / Die kurze Bewegung der Beine (immer zwei)* was published, in collaboration with Martha Gantier.
