Final concert of the Early Music Youth Ensemble
With ‘All in a garden green’, the Jugendensemble Alte Musik Berlin will be exploring the soundscapes of the English Renaissance in its 2026 annual concert. To mark the 400th anniversary of the exceptional composer John Dowland, music from England’s ‘Golden Age’ will be performed. Under the direction of Katharina Bäuml and Hildegard Wippermann from the renowned partner ensemble CAPELLA DE LA TORRE, young musicians and singers will perform works by John Dowland, Thomas Morley, William Byrd, John Playford and others – with a fresh, lively approach and a genuine joy in performing.
Admission: €18.00 / concessions €10.00
Concessionary tickets are available to school pupils, students, young people in voluntary service, participants in the Federal Voluntary Service and apprentices. Valid identification must be presented on entry.
An event organised by the Landesmusikrat Berlin e.V.
