For the second part of Studies in Intimacy, the clearly defined objectives of the project remain the same:
- To perform the contemporary music of this period.
- To cultivate the musical language of this period.
- To uphold the chamber music format.
What is new is the ensemble: the line-up of violin and guitar has been replaced by viola and theorbo. An instrumentation that is certainly less common, but no less suited to chamber music.
