Right by the model boat harbour, a festively illuminated world of wonder will come to life over four weekends in Advent. A Christmas market for the whole family
At ‘Winter Wonderland’, you can look forward to a blend of classic Christmas market atmosphere and entertainment. Nostalgic stalls and magical light displays create a festive atmosphere around the model boat harbour. On stage, there’s a varied programme of shows featuring music, dance and acrobatics. Even Father Christmas will be popping by.
Tip: To kick things off, there’ll be an opening celebration on stage on 27 November 2026 at 3 pm.

Warm up with mulled wine or hot chocolate and enjoy grilled sausages, popcorn, freshly made candyfloss, roasted almonds or crêpes. Combine your visit to the Christmas market with a wintry stroll through Britzer Garten. Even in the colder months, this spacious park offers beautiful views and plenty of space for a relaxing outing. Not far away is the historic Britz Castle with its estate. Traditionally, the Nordic Fairytale Christmas takes place there at weekends during Advent – complete with bonfires, street performers, arts and crafts, and a medieval atmosphere. So a trip to Britz offers the chance to discover a whole range of different Christmas worlds.

- Opening hours: Friday to Sunday, 10 am to 8 pm
- Admission: You’ll need a valid annual or day ticket to visit the Britzer Garten.
- Accessibility: The Britzer Garten is largely accessible and has several wheelchair-accessible toilet facilities. Disabled parking spaces are available at the Mohriner Allee entrance.

We recommend travelling by public transport. The Christmas market is located at the model boat harbour by the Grünes Strandcafé in the Britzer Garten.
