Relaxed Drag Performance

Three drag performers compete against one another in an absurd contest: who is the most masculine person on stage? Amidst dancing, lip-syncing, macho gestures and absurd challenges, masculinity becomes a performance – and the performance becomes a game of vulnerability, intimacy and self-reflection.

The audience gets involved. After all, who actually decides what is strong, soft, masculine or feminine?

An interactive drag and dance performance about masculinity, the body and the art of performance.

Additional information

Accessibility

*The Most Performative Man* is designed as a ‘relaxed performance’. The aim is to create a theatre space where different needs are welcomed and, in particular, where neurodivergent people can experience the performance as comfortably as possible.

As well as regular seats, beanbags are also available. Earplugs can be used on site. During the performance, you are free to leave the room and return at any time.

No harsh or strobe-like lighting effects are used. You also do not have to sit still or follow the usual rules of theatre-going: movement, sounds and spontaneous reactions are welcome.

The aim is to create a space where people can experience the performance in their own way.
