Large ceramics jumble sale in the museum courtyards on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September 2026, from 11 am to 5 pm on both days
The KMB Friends’ Association, which runs the Ceramics Museum without any public funding, has once again received many interesting vessels and objects from days gone by as donations for this sale. Members of the KMB Friends’ Association will also be present with their own stalls.
As well as knick-knacks and wonderful kitsch, visitors can also purchase vases, bowls, figurines, decorative objects or tableware (complete sets or individual pieces) made from porcelain, stoneware, faience, earthenware or pottery. On offer are exquisite one-off pieces by recognised artists, as well as simple, rustic and quirky ceramic objects, alongside the odd item from well-known manufacturers (e.g. KPM, Rosenthal, Hedwig Bollhagen, Karlsruhe, Velten-Vordamm, Monika Maetzel, etc.). Take this opportunity to discover special treasures for your home or your collection.
For the reduced admission price of 2 euros, you can also view the current special exhibitions:
> KMB Anniversary Celebrations 2026: Walter Heufelder, Heidi Kippenberg and Claus Tittmann
> Styles and Trends in the 20th Century. The Michael Kossow Collection
