Reading with Cally Stronk & Christian Friedrich

Cally Stronk has written over 60 books. She lives in the urban jungle of Berlin with her husband, the author Christian Friedrich, and her cat Yazhi. She also has a studio there, where she paints and invents stories. Cally’s goal: she simply wants to write favourite books. When Cally isn’t writing or painting, she’s often on the road giving readings and running writing and creative workshops all over Germany. She has also won several awards; she is particularly proud of the Preuschhof Prize for Children’s Literature, as the jury consisted of over 300 children who chose her book as the best and funniest one.

Christian Friedrich is an author with a keen interest in living and extinct animals. He hasn’t met any aliens yet, though. Instead, he has an exceptionally cute cat who lives with him and his wife, the author Cally Stronk, in Berlin. He studied at the University of Hildesheim, where he also gave various seminars on the subject of humour. Christian travels all over Germany, thrilling audiences with his exciting and action-packed reading shows.

When Lex, Lupe and Sammy receive a strange message, they stumble into the wildest adventure of their lives. Also in the mix: a round as a ball alien with a chocolate addiction called Koko, slimy monsters, weird agent gadgets – and N.A.S.E., the secret alien agent organisation with a special mission. The friends have to solve tricky puzzles, rescue Koko and stop a dangerous villain! So, basically, just another day in the life of alien agents.
