Fee Krämer, born in Heidelberg in 1984, explored children’s books from many different angles before she began writing herself. Today, she publishes with various publishers and lives with her family in Berlin.

Off into space – a hamster suddenly becomes a ‘hamstronaut’!
Are hamsters just fluffy little creatures who stuff their cheeks full of grain? Think again! What nobody knows is that hamsters are way ahead of humans, and in a few days’ time, the moment will have arrived: they’re setting off on the first mission to Mars!
For Hänk the hamster, however, this isn’t for him. He loves space, but he’d never dare to climb into a space capsule. But then he becomes an unwilling part of the Mars mission! With the help of his friend Inge, he actually manages to overcome his fears. (Not) a small step for Hänk, and a giant leap for rodents!
