Germany 2015, Dir: Lars Kraume
At the heart of this political drama lies the struggle of Frankfurt’s Chief Public Prosecutor, Fritz Bauer, to arrest Adolf Eichmann – one of the most wanted war criminals – and bring him before a German court. The film also depicts the resistance Bauer encounters in Germany in the late 1950s and addresses his homosexuality, which was a criminal offence at the time.
