Yuliia Holub Quintett – Roots & Grooves
For many years, Yuliia has been arranging Ukrainian folk songs for jazz ensembles, developing a distinctive, rhythmically vibrant sound from them. Together with Igor Osypov (guitar), Luca Curcio (bass), Omri Abramov (saxophone) and N.N: [drums], they create a colourful sound that blends Ukrainian tradition, jazz, groove and improvisation.
A concert exploring musical roots, cultural encounters and the freedom to constantly reinterpret tradition.
