In an unstable world, love is more than just romance – it is resistance, empathy and political power. The performance by ABA NAIA and the Occupy Houseclub!, supported by Anna Koddenbrock, explores intimacy, desire and coexistence in a hyper-connected society, transforming vulnerability into collective imagination.

What does it mean to speak of love in an unstable world? What happens before love emerges – what traces shape people and their relationships? Love not merely as romance, but as a force that insists on connection, despite all political turmoil. To love is to embody empathy and to dream of a better world. To remain resilient in the face of what overwhelms them. To recognise that they belong to a world they did not choose and which they are creating together.
In the face of these shared circumstances, they erect an altar to love: gestures, rituals, confessions, and dancing away our pain and our euphoria. We search for our strengths and our weaknesses and ask ourselves: how do we remain true to ourselves, vulnerable, loved? Love becomes a practice of resistance, intimacy and imagination.
Developed by the performing arts collective ABA NAIA and the young team at the Occupy Houseclub, with the support of Anna Koddenbrock, the performance explores how love operates in our hyper-connected society and invites the audience to reflect on love, desire and living together.
