Through a slide show, Darius Ramazani takes the audience behind the scenes of his labour of love in Berlin, ‘ramazani.flasht.berlin’. He talks about encounters, unexpected twists, technical challenges and those little moments that nobody notices afterwards – but which often make all the difference.

Every month, he uses his space on Stuttgarter Platz to explore topics that are shaping Berlin. Thought-provoking. Political. Thought-provoking. Sometimes challenging, sometimes reading between the lines. Sometimes stirring, sometimes unsettling. The more restricted the space becomes in our society for certain topics, the wider Ramazani opens his door. Sometimes he also makes the large-scale display available to committed initiatives and cultural projects, thereby opening up the wall to the most diverse perspectives.

Ramazani brings the city’s current issues to the fore. He looks into parallel worlds and does not shy away from a reflective examination of political realities.

Anyone who knows him realises that this evening is not just about photography and images. It’s about people, about Berlin, about stories and about looking beneath the surface.

An evening for people who want to ask questions, sharpen their own perspective on reality and be inspired by one of the city’s most experienced photographers.
