FeelAustria Week 2026

The program is diverse: from concerts and comedy to readings and culinary evenings, as well as a Spree river cruise and a Coffee Rave—there’s something for every taste.

To kick things off on September 14, the comedy sundowner “Beats & Spritzer” at FluxBau will feature Austrian wit, live comedy, and music. Julia Brandner and Freddy Ekué will bring stories from everyday life, dark humor, and sharp observations to the stage, before Vittoria PS wraps up the evening with a DJ set.

The musical highlights come on September 18 and 19 with two concert evenings at FluxBau. NENDA and Tamara Flores blend hip-hop, indie rock, pop, and Latin American influences, and their songs explore themes of identity, social issues, and cultural diversity. The following evening, CIVAN takes the stage to present Austrian indie pop that blends pop, folk, melancholy, and hope.

FeelAustria Week also has a special event in store for literature enthusiasts. At the BUCHtelmatinée on September 19, new voices in Austrian literature will be introduced—perfectly paired with sparkling wine and Austrian Buchteln for the morning. Two readings will focus on the novels “Uppercut” by Maja Iskra and “Von blauen Vögeln” by Shejla Baltić.

Those who prefer to discover Austria through its flavors can look forward to several culinary events. At “Brettl & Beisl,” a traditional Austrian snack is reimagined as a four-course meal, accompanied by selected wines and specialties from Austria. Another highlight is the Kaiserschmarrn Contest on September 20, where three chefs will compete for the audience’s favor and the title of best Kaiserschmarrn.

Things get particularly unusual at “Liquid Austria”: On a boat ride along the Spree, guests journey through six Austrian federal states—not by land, but through various specialties served in a glass. The guided tasting will feature vermouth, cider, beer, and other Austrian beverages, among other things.

To wrap up the week, the ALBERT&TINA Day Rave combines Austrian coffeehouse culture with music, art, and a club atmosphere. Over coffee, pastries, an art workshop, and DJ sets, Viennese coffeehouse culture will be reimagined in a modern and urban way on September 20.

FeelAustria Week thus showcases many different facets of Austria—from music and literature to comedy, cuisine, and contemporary culture. Anyone interested in experiencing Austria the Berlin way will find plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy during this week.
