Day of Action in Tempelhof-Schöneberg
On this hop-on-hop-off tour, historic double-decker buses connect special sights throughout the district. You can ride this shuttle service for free every half hour. Along the way, experienced “Zeit-Reisen” guides share stories about the district’s industrial heritage.

The tour begins at the main workshop of the Berlin City Cleaning Authority (BSR), then continues to Tempelhof Airport and the “Schwerbelastungskörper” (heavy-load structure) from the Nazi era. Additional stops for the hop-on-hop-off bus include Natur Park Südgelände and the ufaFabrik.
Once there, you can explore the grounds and check out the exhibits—guided tours are also available at some locations.
Snacks are available for when you get a little hungry: The cafeteria at the BSR main workshop offers light meals. The cafés at Natur Park Südgelände and the ufaFabrik are also open.

The Berlin Industrial Heritage Festival offers you the chance to experience the city in a whole new way. From 12 September to 4 October, around 100 events will bring the visible and invisible heritage of industrialisation to life.
