Wild Herb Tour with Ackerpause
Join the Wild Herb Tour for an exciting journey through nature and history. One hundred years ago, the Schultheiss Brewery’s malting plant in Tempelhof began operations. Spanning several floors, it processed barley grains into malt for beer production.

Today’s malt factory is a unique industrial landmark committed to sustainability. It offers the perfect setting to discover the diversity and power of local wild herbs.
The tour takes you through the malt field and provides insights into the educational work of Acker e.V. Along the way, you’ll receive practical tips on organic vegetable gardening in the city. At the end, you’ll sample a wild herb snack.

The guided tour on 18 September 2026 will be in English; the tours on 15 September, 18 September and 22 September 2026 will be in German.

The Berlin Industrial Heritage Festival offers you the chance to experience the city in a whole new way. From 12 September to 4 October, around 100 events will bring the visible and invisible heritage of industrialisation to life.
