Soon it will be July 4, 2036. Post-dramatic theater is no longer in vogue, Rimini Protokoll can no longer find venues to perform, the Sophiensaele have been closed, and Falk Richter is dead. It was July 4, 1926. The NSDAP is holding its first party congress in Thuringia since its reestablishment.
General Probe of a Resistance is a participatory performance about forms of activism and resistance.
The performance takes place concurrently with the AfD party convention and, together with the audience, explores questions of responsibility and agency within the shared space of the theater.
How do we take action for a vision we wish to call the future? How do we train and intervene to find a collective response to the present? How do we research—with experts, with the audience, and with ourselves? You are preparing.
