Hamburger Bahnhof on Tour

Twenty-six texts were written for the monumental work *The Fountain Archives*, which explores both Marcel Duchamp’s famous readymade and the theme of plumbing.

Ten of these were set to music in 2018 by Augustin Maurs under the title “Musiques pour tuyauterie” for voice and flute.

Twenty-three texts were written for “Anthologie de l’humour noir,” a complex of works that addresses the important question of the museum’s place in the city. They are freely interpreted in an improvisation.

Hamburger Bahnhof on Tour

With the monthly event series “Hamburger Bahnhof On Tour,” the museum is placing a special emphasis on networking with Berlin’s cultural actors to mark its 30th anniversary: from February to July 2026, the Hamburger Bahnhof, in collaboration with Freunde* Guter Musik Berlin e. V., six concerts and performances by Berlin-based artists Annika Kahrs and Saâdane Afif at the SIM Museum of Musical Instruments, the Berlin Museum of Medical History, the Evangelical Holy Spirit Church, the Red Salon of the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, KM28, and the Kantine am Berghain.
