KROSS COLLECTIVE presents: CONVERGENCE XIII, an evening where sound, video, language, and performance merge into a shared experience.

The evening kicks off with Days Like Television, co-founder of the Kross Collective, with a rousing audiovisual set featuring electronics, electric guitar, and found-footage visuals.

Next up is HOTARU, a guitar-and-electronics duo consisting of Tatsumi Ryusui (guitar) and Makoto Sakamoto (electronics), both members of the Berlin-based experimental noise band Noctiluca.

CONVERGENCE XII invites you to listen attentively, to permeable boundaries, and to the quiet thrill of disorientation.

Daniel Bryden is an experimental musician and video artist from Newcastle upon Tyne who currently lives in Berlin. He releases music under the name Days Like Television.

By drawing on dissociated sound sources and fragmented textures, he creates a balance in his works between visceral intensity and a melodic, nostalgic beauty. The result is a practice that moves the listener while simultaneously eluding definitive resolution—it draws listeners into a sonic encounter marked by absence, weathering, and the aesthetics of disappearance.

He has presented live AV performances across Europe at venues such as the ICA (London), Nalen (Stockholm), La Vallée (Brussels), Mayfield Depot (Manchester), ACUD MACHT NEU (Berlin), and VEKKS (Vienna). His debut album—*This Will Have Been the Past*—was released in 2024.

Building on Noctiluca’s concept of layered colors and dense textures, HOTARU shifts the focus to a more minimalistic and intimate sonic dialogue. Guitar harmonics and electronic sounds float through the space, occasionally flaring up as sharp noise and slowly transforming like an evolving abstract drawing.
