Rio de Janeiro-born troubadour, guitarist, and songwriter Leo Middea has been making music for as long as he can remember. His love for Brazil, its music, flavors, energy, and contrasts is reflected in his songs. His lyrics are an homage to the Brazilian people, culture, and the life of a musician on the move.

His latest work, "Sulamérica," is a beautiful pop song infused with Afro-Brazilian influences, partly inspired by Brazilian street markets. After years of writing about his everyday experiences in Europe, Leo realized he missed his connection to Brazil and South America. "Sulamérica" is therefore a tribute to his roots: drums, rhythm, carnival, kisses—everything that inspires and pulsates in South America.
