Visiting monuments with all your senses is a very special experience for many people after the long Corona months. You can smell the old walls, the old wood, experience the coolness of a vaulted cellar or the sound of an organ up close in historical surroundings. Once again, numerous monuments are open that are otherwise closed to the public.
The ear is especially addressed during the Open Monument Day 2021. The regional music councils of Berlin and other federal states have declared the organ the instrument of the year 2021. So it is no coincidence that the Organ Day in Berlin takes place exactly on the Day of the Open Monument. The programme includes numerous organ tours and concerts.
