That the brothers of "The Bakery Brothers" have always dedicated their musical endeavors to American music is as obvious as the fact that they've already racked up quite a few miles on their tour odometer.
Johnny and Basti can be heard with both the retro rock & roll band "Midge's Pocket" and the bluegrass combo "Johnny & the Yooahoos," the latter of which has already completed a five-week US tour, playing at renowned venues such as the Grand Ole Opry and the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival.
The fact that the brothers are now also performing as a duo is likely due to the sheer breadth of Americana music and their desire to share not only their own songs but also the lesser-known works of folk, bluegrass, old-time, and country with the public.
It goes without saying that this can only be presented using a rich selection of American stringed instruments, so whether you're a folk music novice or an acoustic music aficionado, there's something for everyone!
