theatrical panopticon by Max Doehlemann
Inspired by the Hebrew word "Ruach" (רוח), the four artists present a theatrical panopticon, a form that oscillates between miniature musical theater, spoken theater and concert. The text collage moves between Kabbalah, Heinrich Heine, Franz Kafka, Kurt Tucholsky, Erich Mühsam, Sigmund Freud and the spook researcher Max Dessoir, while Max Doehlemann's composition also integrates music by Georg Phillip Telemann and György Ligeti. Diverse, crazy, funny, profound and mysterious.
