Shrouded in fog and volume, their performances unfold as infernal sound baths—equally reverent and overwhelming. Now the duo returns with a new, self-titled album, their first full-length release for the legendary Seattle-based record label Sub Pop.

Reducing the project to its core, Anderson and O’Malley drive guitar, bass, and synthesizer to symphonic extremes. Recorded with forensic precision, the duo sent their seismic sounds from the studio out into the open and re-recorded them from great distances. Amplified and filtered by the landscape, the songs emerged from well over a hundred guitar tracks played simultaneously.

The result is a hyper-distilled monolith of growling distortion, shimmering feedback, and low-frequency pressure that fuses amplifier worship with the rumble of distant weather. During this performance, Sunn O))) will present the new album in its entirety.
