House of Visionaries

The Haus der Visionäre (HDV) brings together everything Berlin's creative scene has to offer under its sun-drenched glass roofs. Sometimes it serves as an industrial venue for lavish club nights, sometimes as a backdrop for feminist conceptual art – the HDV is creative and versatile, always standing for artistic quality.

Interdisciplinary creative centre on the Spree

With more than eight sun-drenched halls and a 1,200 square metre courtyard, the Haus der Visionäre offers plenty of space for concerts, festivals and creative experiments. The combination of brick façades and expansive glass roofs creates the perfect backdrop for the diverse events that take place here. In addition to club nights with renowned artists such as DJ Heartstring and Funk Assault, you can regularly visit exhibitions on photography, street art and performance art.

Art, sound and culture

Nestled within the historic walls of the Treptow Arena, a former bus factory from the 1920s, the Haus der Visionäre combines industrial history with contemporary culture. The venue is reluctant to commit to a single function: the HDV sees itself as a platform for interdisciplinary, site-specific projects that interweave art, sound and collective experience.

Your visit to the House of Visionaries

The Haus der Visionäre is located directly on the banks of the Spree in Kreuzberg, not far from the Club der Visionäre. You can easily reach it by taking the U1 or U3 underground to Schlesisches Tor or the S-Bahn to Treptower Park – both stations are about a ten-minute walk away. Bus line 165 also stops nearby. Its quiet location on Lohmühleninsel makes the House of Visionaries a special place between the water and the city. The Badeschiff, ÆDEN and Arena Berlin are all nearby attractions – perfect destinations for a summer evening by the river.
