A Kreuzberg garden Æeden on Lohmühleninsel
Even while queuing at the entrance, the club offers its guests a romantic first impression: tree tops lean over the brick walls of the garden area, decorated with ivy and graffiti, from all sides. And this symbiosis of nature and city continues inside. In the summery open-air area, the remains of the chalet garden pond can still be seen, and on the roof terrace, climbing plants and bamboo create a real feel-good atmosphere.
Local club identity with an interdisciplinary approach
Despite all this tranquillity, Æeden doesn't lack the club aspect in the slightest. Two well-equipped bars, a high-quality sound system and an always impressive line-up make the club a Kreuzberg music paradise. In terms of programming, the club moves between live formats and club nights. Especially on weekends, DJ sets with house, techno and electronic sounds dominate here, often in combination with art installations and visual projects.
Our tips
- There is no dress code at Æeden, only attitude counts. The philosophy is: come as you are! Respectful behaviour is, of course, the main thing!
- When the weather is good, Æeden opens its outdoor area – a hidden pleasure garden made of bamboo, wood and light, perfect for sunrises over the Spree.
Your visit to Æeden
Æeden is idyllically located on Lohmühleninsel in Kreuzberg, right on the border with Treptow. You can easily reach the club by taking the U1 or U3 to Schlesisches Tor or the S-Bahn to Treptower Park – both stations are about a ten-minute walk away. Bus line 165 also stops nearby. The green island area between the Landwehr Canal and the Spree invites you to linger on your way there. In the surrounding area, the Badeschiff, the Club der Visionäre and the Arena grounds attract visitors with a varied cultural and music programme.
