Florida Eis

Ice cold and environmentally friendly.

The “manufacturer of climate-neutral world firsts” is located in Berlin-Spandau. At Florida Eis, the future melts in your mouth, and every spoonful not only tastes great but also gives you a clear conscience, because all products are committed to the environment and its preservation.

It all began with a drum ice cream machine that provided cinema-goers with cold, scoop-shaped refreshments in the lobby of the Concordia cinema in Berlin-Spandau in 1927. in 1985, the ice cream parlour, which survived the destruction of the city during the Second World War, became a real factory and Florida Eis was born. Production has always been based one hundred per cent on craftsmanship and since 2013, Florida Eis has also been committed to climate protection with every corporate decision. While Florida Eis presents itself in its characteristic blue colour, the values that go into the ice cream tubs are green throughout.

But Florida Eis doesn't stop at simply labelling the packaging of Germany's first CO2-neutral ice cream manufacturer. The energy from the refrigeration machines is recovered, photovoltaics are used and a pellet heating system including the first electronic fine dust filter developed ensure a climate-neutral overall concept. The first smart freezer can also be attributed to Florida Eis' ability to innovate and, of course, the ice cream is only delivered in the city by electric vehicles.

Florida ice cream is available at any time of year, as the manufactory's range of flavours includes timeless creations such as vanilla, Swiss chocolate, latte macchiato and marshmallow in addition to summer classics such as strawberry and elderberry crème. In winter , flavours such as speculoos, baked apple, almond marzipan and whiskey cream are added. It almost goes without saying that many of the Florida ice cream flavours are vegan or lactose-free. The ice cream is available to buy in compostable bamboo cups coated with watercolours.
