Jawoll Baby

Sustainable. Natural. Zero waste.

Jawoll Baby creates new clothing from rescued wool sweaters. The Berlin-based upcycling company has set itself the task of producing children's clothing in the most sustainable and resource-efficient way possible by giving old wool clothing a new life.

Jawoll Baby began with founder Janine's desire to dress her daughter as sustainably as possible. This became her own upcycling company, which has been sewing new clothes from old woollen jumpers since March 2021. After all, the most sustainable resources are materials that don't need to be produced. Wool has several special features: It regulates heat, absorbs moisture without feeling wet and the fibres are odour and dirt repellent. Cleaning and care are also quite uncomplicated. Wool is therefore the all-round perfect material for children's clothing.

The Jawoll Baby online shop offers all kinds of timeless basics for babies and children: jumpers, scarves and trousers - all designed and produced in Berlin-Karlshorst. During the production process, care is also taken to ensure that cuts and colours are as gender-neutral as possible.

In addition to the extensive product catalogue, Jawoll Baby also offers upcycling workshops that bring sustainability to life: Small groups work together to transform discarded woollen jumpers into clothing. Beginners are also welcome. Patterns are pre-made and the material is provided - if you like, you can bring your own woollen items. In around three hours, you will create at least one finished item of clothing that you can take home ready to wear
