Whether it’s browsing the late-night shops in Kreuzberg, dancing until the early hours, taking part in a DJ workshop or celebrating Gretchen’s 15th anniversary: the festival week marking Club Culture Day 2026 showcases just how vibrant and diverse Berlin’s club scene is.
After all, Berlin’s club culture is more than just nightlife; it’s where new ideas and collaborations take shape. It’s where people come together. Knowledge is passed on across generations, diversity is practised and freedom is celebrated.
Club Culture Day honours this special significance with a cultural award for outstanding clubs and collectives, as well as a festival week running from 2 to 11 October 2026. Under the motto“STAY CORE”, 110 clubs, collectives and initiatives are asking themselves what constitutes the essence of club culture. Here are our 11 tips.
Tip 1: Laugh at ten years of club culture at Berlin Club Memes X The Code
From 3 to 8 October, discover the chaotic world of Berlin’s club nights at THE CODE. At BERLIN CLUB MEMES X THE CODE, you’ll see iconic memes about long queues, after-hours parties, bad decisions and the absurd moments that define Berlin’s nightlife. Amidst original art and meme installations on the walls, you’ll discover the humorous side of club culture. Live performances and DJs await you at the opening on 3 October. There’ll also be exclusive fans and framed prints to take home. And, of course, the mystery surrounding the anonymous person behind the meme account remains unsolved.
