Queer musicians* as guests at MIM. As part of “MIM Pride - We celebrate diversity”
Anyone who likes music knows that monotony is boring. Music needs variety, colorful harmonies and rhythms, different styles and timbres.
That's why on July 5 and July 12 there will be free admission for everyone with a rainbow flag. As a generous cape, discreet pin or extravagantly made up - there are no limits to your imagination!
On July 17, queer musicians will take the stage at the museum with Queercoustic Hangout and Unicorn Socialclub.
Admission is free!
5 pm
Unicorn Socialclub
This band develops music by queer artists and makes it ready for the stage.
The aim of the Leo Kestenberg Music School band class is to create an “empowering” framework in which LGBT*IQ musicians can find a safe space to make music and have the opportunity to develop their musical identity independently of gender roles.
6 pm
Queercoustic Hangout
Queercoustic Hangout has been offering a monthly queer acoustic jam session for young musicians in Berlin for almost two years. At MIM, Queercoustic Hangout presents the greatest folk-punk hits from almost two years of QCHO history and also performs some self-written songs. Have a wild, angry and wonderful Pride season!
