After an introduction featuring historical footage and background information in the Industrial Salon, the tour begins: along the imposing industrial facades, reminders of Berlin’s “Elektropolis,” which once electrified the world.

Behind them, you’ll discover hidden spots, such as the historic AEG cafeteria or Germany’s first three-phase power plant. Part of the large cable factory is now repurposed as the modern campus of HTW Berlin.
The tour’s destination is a monument to industrial culture: an impressive multi-story factory designed for automobile manufacturing by the famous architect Peter Behrens.
Please note: Due to construction work, tours of the Behrens Building are currently not available!
