Tip 2: Relax and unwind at the Mutter Fourage courtyard café

Small tables are set out on the cobblestones among the flowers from the nursery, inviting you to linger. In the café you can unwind and forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. In addition to delicious cakes, you can also enjoy a tasty breakfast with freshly baked bread rolls. Tip 3: Sit by the water at Rivo Spreeterrassen

You can experience a maritime flair when you visit the RIVO Spreeterrassen, as you sit on the terrace of the restaurant right on the water with a great view of the Oberbaumbrücke and the Spree. The cuisine is Israeli-inspired with modern accents, so look forward to roasted cauliflower or a Tel Aviv schnitzel and let your gaze wander over the water.

 Tip 4: Experience neighbourhood flair at Weyers

The classic in Wilmersdorf: This is where the whole neighbourhood meets around the cosy Ludwigkirchplatz. The restaurant has a large outdoor area right on the square. At Weyers, you can enjoy down-to-earth cuisine with tarte flambée, fresh salads and schnitzel - and a beautiful view of the church and the children's playground.

Tip 5: Cruising and feasting at Neuer See

In the middle of the city and yet idyllic under trees and right by the lake: the Café am Neuen See in Tiergarten is certainly one of the most beautiful locations anywhere. Here you can relax in the cosy beer garden, enjoy typical beer garden delicacies and take a rowing boat across the Neuer See.

Tip 6: Relax by the Spree at Zola

Idyllically sit by the water, in the beer garden or simply let your legs dangle on the Spree wall. At Zola im Funkhaus Nalepastraße, you can enjoy Napoletan pizzas that are as classic as they are delicious. Of course, vegan versions are also available. Enjoy a piece of Italy. You can find a second branch at Paul-Linke-Ufer 39 in Kreuzberg.

For that special occasion, this restaurant is perfect. At heimlichTreu there are many delicious dishes on the table for you to share. Inside, the restaurant has a cosy and homely atmosphere, while outside you can enjoy a delicious meal in the typical Berlin backyard.

Tip 8: Zollpackhof

The Zollpackhof was Berlin's first excursion destination as early as 1700. The restaurant opposite the Federal Chancellery on the Spree is still worth a visit today. In addition to a cosy beer garden, the urige Restaurant also has a lovely terrace for sitting outside, so you can enjoy the sunshine in spring and summer. The menu includes hearty classics and savoury dishes.

The Café Schönbrunn is located in the middle of Volkspark Friedrichshain and is surrounded by greenery. After a walk through the park and to the fairytale fountain, you can enjoy Austrian cuisine with a Mediterranean twist and look out over the greenery from the large terrace.

The BrewDog Brewery has a beautiful terrace on the brewery grounds in Marienpark. Here you not only have the choice between around 100 types of beer, numerous other drinks and delicious burgers. By the way, half of the menu offers vegetarian or vegan dishes.
