A video of young men in Gaza exuberantly practicing parkour evokes memories for Areeb Zuaiter, the director of the documentary. She has never forgotten the sea, the beach in Gaza, and the smile of her Palestinian mother.

For ten years, the director accompanied Ahmed Matar and his parkour troupe through their harsh daily lives, and a friendship developed. Areeb's search for home, identity, and belonging met Ahmed's unwavering will to live a life of freedom. The award-winning film celebrated its European premiere at the Berlinale.
