Participants will learn the basic principles of 2D animation using cut-out animation as an example. We will produce short stories and animated sequences. In doing so, we will cover fundamental aspects of image composition, movement and cinematic design.
No prior knowledge is required. Three ‘stop-motion kits’ will be provided for the workshop. If you have them, please bring your own devices, such as a smartphone, camera, laptop or tablet. We will be working using the free Stop Motion Studio app and each participant’s individual workflow.
The workshop is aimed at adults with or without prior experience who are interested in creative work.
