To mark Restoration Day, Bertram Lorenz and Nadin Radecke are opening the doors to their studio. The focus is on a magnificent Sansovino frame that was discovered in the storeroom and is now to be used for a painting that fits it perfectly.
Find out more about the frame’s eventful history, its skilful craftsmanship and the techniques used to study and restore it. Afterwards, there will be time for questions and further insights into the work of frame restoration.
