The "Westminster 133rd Grand Prize of Berlin" is undoubtedly the sporting highlight of the Berlin racing season. Every year, well-known figures from politics and culture come to Hoppegarten for this event.
Traditionally, the Berlin Group I Grand Prix is the first meeting of the three-year-old top horses from the German Derby with the older Grand Prix horses. The supporting program on the second day of the anniversary meeting also meets the highest demands. A total of three international listed races, the Fliegerpreis (1,200m G.B.), the Stutenpreis (1,800m), and the Steherpreis (2,800m) stand out.
