The working group ‘Posthuman, More-than-Human and Non-Human’ of the Young Academy at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities and the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina is presenting artistic and scientific projects at the Charité Museum of the History of Medicine in Berlin.

These have been created specifically as site-specific interventions in, and responses to, the museum’s collections, spaces and history. The works speculate – from an artistic, scientific or both perspectives – on what it means to conceive of the world and reality beyond a humanistic and anthropocentric (from the Greek ‘anthropos’, meaning ‘human’) perspective.

  • The audio guide, which you can access via your smartphone, and the newspaper available on site provide insights into the ideas and stories behind the works.
