This concert brings together choirs from all over the world on stage with the Voices of Singapore Choral Society. Under the baton of Dr Darius Lim and renowned conductors from Singapore and beyond, the ensembles will present a multifaceted programme that showcases the diversity and cultural richness of Asian choral music – featuring popular works by Darius Lim as well as new compositions.

Set against the unique acoustics of the Philharmonie, ‘Walking in Beauty’ puts Singaporean and Asian choral music centre stage, offering the audience a special insight into its emotional depth, cultural expressiveness and artistic diversity. In doing so, the concert becomes far more than a musical performance: it brings together voices, cultures and people, allowing the audience to experience first-hand the universal power of singing together.
Under the artistic direction of Darius Lim, ‘Walking in Beauty’ not only honours his outstanding contributions to contemporary choral music but also celebrates the unifying power of music – a language that brings people together across cultural and geographical boundaries.
