Performance by Lina Gómez
Her works operate at the intersection of dance, performance, and choreographic research, exploring memory, transformation, and the traces that bodies and places carry within them.
Lina Gómez studied choreography at HZT Berlin as well as dance and theater at the Catholic University of São Paulo. She is currently developing the research project *Chão Vazado*, which is funded by the Goethe-Institut and the Berlin Senate Administration. Her most recent works include *STAUB (Poeira Surda)* and *Devaneios Sobre o Desaparecimento – Träumerei des Verschwindens*, which were presented at the Uferstudios Berlin, among other venues.
As a co-founder of the Companhia Aberta de Dança in São Paulo, she has been collaborating internationally with choreographers and performers for many years. In addition, she has appeared as a dancer in productions by Tino Sehgal, Edson Fernandes, and Jorge Garcia, among others.
