The festival brings together the Afro-diasporic dance scene and its communities, combining networking, performances, and battle culture in a diverse program.
NETWORKING EVENT
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2026, 1:00 – 5:00 P.M.
The event begins with a networking session. Together with key figures from Berlin’s dance scene, perspectives will be gathered and translated into an action plan for the future of the Afro-diasporic dance scene.

PERFORMANCE EVENING
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2026, 7:00 – 9:00 PM
During the performance evening, artists from various fields of dance will present their short pieces on stage at the Ballhaus Prinzenallee.
Following the presentations, the performers will join invited guests in a moderated panel discussion to explore artistic perspectives and current developments in the field of performance.

BATTLE DAY
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2026, 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Battle Day is all about exchange, creativity, and competition.
Dancers will compete against each other in the categories “1 vs. 1 Krump” and “1 vs. 1 Concept.”
The “Concept” category challenges participants with creative tasks and unconventional prompts.
The battles are judged by renowned judges from the national and international dance scene.
The festival concludes with an afterparty where artists, visitors, and the community can celebrate the end of the festival together.
