To Try the Impossible Artwork
To Try the Impossible Artwork
This work, which blends music, theatre and performance, builds on Dora Garcia’s ‘100 Impossible Artworks’ and translates its conceptual framework into a collective, feminist research practice. The ‘impossible’ artworks are not illustrated, but are understood as instructions for action – as open scores for voice, body, space and imagination.
The work embodies the practice of hope: turning what is believed to be impossible into reality and generating support and strength through collaborative work.
