Tone Fish has been touring throughout Germany for 10 years and has earned a permanent place in the cultural scene. The musicians don't believe in standing still and come up with a brand new programme. Own compositions and alienated stolen goods alternate, often blurring the boundaries. Traditional songs, settings of Shakespeare and Goethe, Wilhelm Busch and Metallica are not forgotten either.

There is an acute risk of infection from the concerts of the folk band Tone Fish with their Rat City Folk. The press writes: "The incubation period is short, the symptoms in the audience are instantaneous rapture, a desire to move and an urge for vocal participation", which is not entirely wrong. The inevitable dependency often leads to overdosing and repeat concerts. However, just keep going like this doesn't fit the musicians' Olympic aspirations - instead, the band reinvents itself over and over again.
