Kompot – choreographed by Kinga Varga – explores the profound journey of human life, desires, natural instincts, and pure physicality. Known for its powerful and emotional impact, the performance illuminates the fragile boundary between life and death.

It shows how people can be alive one moment, full of dreams and thoughts, and the next merely a lifeless body, colorless, weightless, and empty. Ultimately, the work poses questions of meaning and indifference: Can people prepare for this journey? Who knows what truly matters, or who decides what is important? Is death a dark tragedy – or simply a part of everyday life?

THREAD by Máté Mészáros – DART DSP Program

The performance is a choreographic investigation into the possibilities of movement organization – commonly known as dance – and the analysis of its structural units. By employing this methodology, the piece focuses on the synchronicity of the dancing bodies.

Taking into account the linearity of the audience experience, the work offers the possibility of free interpretation and active participation. Through the layering of dance elements as an exponential system, the artists collaboratively create formal variations within the spectrum of body, space, and light.
