Such is the case with violinist and conductor Thomas Zehetmair and pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard, who know each other from many joint orchestral concerts and now also form a chamber music duo at the Pierre Boulez Saal.
Their program combines works by Arnold Schoenberg and Elliott Carter with Robert Schumann’s First Violin Sonata and Schubert’s late Fantasy in C major.
