Curator's tour of the special exhibition with Jule Christ, SPSG
For years, experts and the public debated the reconstruction of the ceiling painting in the White Hall of Charlottenburg Palace before Hann Trier's modern design was executed in 1972. The conflict was a burning mirror of conflicting ideas about how to deal with lost cultural heritage, and the decision was a turning point in the history of the building.

In the guided tour, exhibition curator Jule Christ introduces the protagonists involved and their positions, and traces an arc from the first securing measures after the Second World War to subsequent contemporary works of art in the palace.
